Theseus later abandons Ariadne on an island, and she marries Dionysus instead. At their wedding she throws her wedding crown up into the sky, forming a constellation known as “Corona Borealis.” Ru Paul throws the crown with green jewels up into the air in the You Need To Calm Down music video, which could be a nod to this myth.
