<aside> 💡 Analysis - A bus stop/train station/terminal is a liminal space - a space in between locations. See my ‣ theme cluster to see other times Taylor uses images like this. I believe that she uses these images to speak to her queerness. The added layer here is that Kissgate happened at a place called Terminal 5, the name of this venue also evoking a liminal space - especially as we now know that this was a venue and a moment of transition for Taylor - as it marked the transition from being able to glass closet with Karlie to having to hide her more overt queerness again.

This could add a layer to Taylor’s use of transport imagery in her discography. Another interesting thing to note is that Karlie posted a photo of her at platform 5 of the subway in NYC - could be a reference to Terminal 5…?
